Alex Giedt

I am a marketer with over 25 years experience in all aspects of offline and online marketing. I have a large amount of experience recruiting and directing diverse teams toward accomplishing focused, value-oriented goals. My experience has allowed me to demonstrate the ability to build well-executed and value-driven marketing operations from the ground up.

While strategic concerns are near and dear to me I am particularly interested in the tactics that allow implementation, testing, and measurement of strategic initiatives. Without tactics and process, strategy is a toothless endeavor.

My key desire is to work on interesting problems with interesting people. In a world where the end result is the focus, I find that the path to the result and the process of getting to the end result is where value is created and sustained. But in the end, it is the people I partner with that are the most important element.

I love to work with creative teams to help implement creative in an effective and measurable manner, one which demonstrates the value of the creative effort. I believe in the power of excellent creative.

In my non-work life I mountain bike, road bike, hike, make things, and hang out with my family and friends laughing as much as possible. I live in Fairfax, CA where such things are more than possible. I live with my badass wife and richly talented son and a menagerie of critters.
